Sakuya and Shuu will only be happy with the expensive Racing Blend, and Okosan really likes the Swollen Hemp. The exceptions I know of are Sakuya, Okosan, and Shuu. From what I can tell, most characters will be happy no matter what you give them. The game will choose who you give them to, it's past that point. I think doing well on them makes your teacher like you more. And your WIS changes how well you do on exams. You also need high VIT to get with Azami. Sakuya's requires you to have high CHA, Okosan's VIT, and Shuu's WIS. Sakuya, Okosan, and Shuu have True Endings. They're the same as the regular endings but with additional scenes afterward. For the most part, these are the True Endings with certain characters. Stats allow you to get certain otherwise inacessable endings. Wish for accomplishment in Conquest to raise your VIT, school for WIS, and art for CHA. Additionally, there are a couple events where you visit a shrine and can make a wish. Math will increase your WIS, Gym your VIT, and Music your CHA. When you have an elective day you can choose to take Math Class, Gym, or Music. Presumably the abbreviate Wisdom, Vitality, and Charisma, but the game never specifies. Your character has a few stats that have a minor impact on the game. So if you're trying to get it for achievements that's how. The bad ending happens when you aren't very close to anyone by the end of the second semester. If you end up seeing Ryouta and you haven't really been paying attention to him, you might be headed toward the bad ending. I think it happens at the day of the culture festival, which doesn't let you choose what to do. The game will decide who you end up with around the end of the second semester, it seems. If you want to date his brother, go see him instead. If you want to date Sakuya, hang out with him all the time. You'll end up with the person you pick the most often, as long as you pick them enough.īasically, the best strategy to get a character's ending is to pick them every time. Throughout the game, you'll have a choice of who to hang out with. Hatoful Boyfriend is a dating sim, so there isn't really much to it.
